Irrational is the word

If you've lived anytime during the last 29 years, chances are you recognize that stanza from a popular movie song. Yes, those are the lines Sandy sings to Danny in the last scenes of the popular late '70s movie Grease.

This is the scene, you may recall, when Sandy dressed up in that hot, tight black spandex outfit to try to lure Danny, (who had gone from a hoodlum leather jacket to a letterman's sweater during the movie to try to impress her.)

The irony of the slutty chick telling the born again athlete he's gotta change HIS ways aside, I think the oddest thing about that stanza is the fallacious logic in her argument.

I NEED a man, so YOU had better shape up.

Learning One's Lesson

Sure, Paris Hilton made a big whine-fest over her recent incarceration. What else would one expect from a spoiled heiress princess?

The important thing is that she's learned her lesson. Now if she continues to drive irresponsibly or otherwise acts in irrational ways with regards to partying, etc, then perhaps her judgment can once again be called into question.

My prediction is that we will see a new and improved Ms Hilton after this recent drama.

Time will tell.
